The Lady Hounds Volleyball traveled to compete in the McCook Volleyball Tournament. They played the following four teams: Lamar Community College, Iowa Western Community College, Otero College, and McCook Community College. Although they fought in each round, unfortunately, they did not come home with any wins.

The first two games they played were against Lamar and Iowa Western on September 1. During the game vs. Lamar number 6, freshman Kyla Brandes had a total of 12 kills. Number 4, freshman McKenzie Bohrer had 19 digs, and number 2 sophomore, Avery Crain had 16 assists. The next game they played was against Iowa Western. Number 6, freshman Kyla Brandes had 13 kills, number 2, sophomore Avery Crain with 23 assists, and number 10, freshman Hailee Schropp with 16 digs. On September 2 the Lady Hounds took on their next two components.

They started off with Otero, number 6, Kyla Brandes had 10 kills, and number 2, Avery Crain with 15 assists, and number 10, Hailee Schropp with a total of 14 digs. The Lady Hounds' final game during the McCook Tournament was vs. McCook Community College. Freshman, number 6 had 10 kills, sophomore, number 2 Avery Crain with 18 assists, and freshman, number 10 Hailee Schropp with a total of 13 digs.

The Lady Hounds are working harder to bring home their next win. Come out and support the Lady Hound's at their next home game on September 9 as they take on McPherson and NEO at 12 and 4.
