Hounds Earn First Conference Win

The Women's Basketball Team headed to Hesston College to seek their first conference win of the season. The accomplished their mission, beating the Larks 57-47.

The Hounds were up 17-14 after trading baskets with the Larks in the first quarter. The Hounds put their foot on the gas in the second outscoring Hesston 14-8 in the quarter and shooting 30% in the quarter.

FSCC went in to the locker room up 31-22. Their biggest lead yet in conference.

The Hounds came out with intensity in the 3rd quarter feeling a potential victory. The scored 15 points and held Hesston to 25% shooting and only letting them score 10 in the quarter. The Hounds played well on both sides of the ball earning them their first conference win!

Stars of the game were Taylor Brokenberry with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Jayla Bibbs had 10 points, 4 steals and 5 boards and Jada williams had 8 points, 3 assists and 4 boards.

The Hounds well be back in action at Arnold Arena as they host KCKCC for a 5:30 tipoff on Sophomore night.
