Women's Basketball

Coach Carswell was an Assistant Coach at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, Colorado and a Select Basketball Coach for the DFW Hawks organization in the DFW Area, where she builds meaningful relationships every day.

At Colorado Northwestern Community College, during the short time Jolee was there she had the opportunity to place 3 players onto the next level at D2 schools and helped develop 2 players that became All Conference players in the Scenic West Conference during the year 2022-2023. At CNCC Jolee was the lead strength and conditioning coach, assisted with day-to-day operations, player development, academics, and managed the scout and film breakdown.

Before Jolee began her career in College Coaching, she played at Mineral Area Community where she won Region 16 and finished up her career at The University of Texas at Tyler. Jolee has received her Bachelors in Kinesiology, and is in the process of working towards her Master In Kinesiology focused in Sports Coaching at Hardin Simmons University.

Coach Carswell says this about becoming a head coach: "First and foremost, I want to thank God for allowing me this opportunity, without Him none of this would be possible. I am extremely excited to step into this next chapter of my life, where I will be developing young women to become confident leaders on and off the court. Go Hounds." 

Athletic Director Luke Demko had this to say about the hire: "We are extremely excited about Coach Carswell becoming the next Head Women's Basketball Coach, she is bright and builds lasting relationships, she has played at the Juco level and coached it and knows what it takes to be a winner"
