The Lady Hounds Hosted the Cavilers of Johnson County Community College on Saturday Night.

The Cavs came out on fire and never looked back. The Cavs went up 18-8 in the first quarter. The Cavs shot 55% for the game from the field. The Hounds mounted comeback and got the score to 33-18 before the media timeout in the second quarter. The Hounds were down at half 44-21.

The Hounds played a more complete game in the second half with some lock down defense and some clutch shots. The third quarter the Hounds scored 16 points and held the Cavs to 20. The Hounds just didn't have enough in the tank to mount the comeback. The Hounds fell to the #3 team in the Country  83-49.

The Hounds were led by Taylor Brokenberry with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Kennedy Moss had 10 points and 2 rebounds. Jada Williams had 5 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.

The Hounds are back in action on Wednesday night at 5:30 at local rival Neosho CC.
