FORT SCOTT, KS (Feb. 7, 2024) - Josiyah Taylor, the standout sprinter of the Fort Scott Community College Men's Track and Field team, claims the spotlight as the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Athlete of the Week for his remarkable performance at the Washburn Open. 

Taylor's dynamic outing, included a school record in the 200-meter event posted an impressive 20.97 second time to win the event. That time is currently ranked fourth in the country by the NJCAA. He also took second in the 60-meter with a personal record time of 6.77 seconds. 

Josiyah is a native of Denton, TX, where he graduated from Denton Ryan High School in 2023.
