Josiah Taylor collected a new school record in the men's 200, snagging a 20.97 mark just two heats after teammate Durrell Collins initially posted a 21.20 to break the record. Taylor's time was good for fourth in the entire NJCAA at the time of competition, while Collins's effort ranks No. 8 nationally.

Icey Green nabbed the school record in the pentathlon with a total of 2985, which is also the No.3 score in the NJCAA as of meet day. Green's teammate Jazz Dilworth also earned a national qualifying performance. On the men's end of the heptahlon, Tayshaun Thomas earned a new school record with 4,192 points.

Collins capped his performances off with a 48.21 400m effort, which was good enough for a National qualifier and PR. Fabian Campbell had a solid showing in the 600-yard event, going 1:12.90, which should qualify him for nationals in the 600-meter event when converted. Keaton Hansard's performance in the 600 resulted in a 1:13.18 time, likely placing him at National after being converted. The men's 4x400 crew had a 3:15.32 outing, giving them a National qualifying time. The women's 4x400 crew also collected a national qualifying time with a mark of 3:56.52.

The women's 200 saw Ivana Odonkor race to a 24.80, good for the 11th-best mark in the NJCAA. Kamerin Carter had a personal best leap in the long jump, earning a 5.38m mark. Taylor also took second in the men's 60m at 6.77. Barry Richards also made it to finals in the 60m hurdles, going out with an 8.15 time, giving him a third-place finish.

The Hounds will lace it up again in two weeks at NJCAA Regionals/KJCCC Championships in Pittsburg, Kan., at Pittsburg State University.
