Men Continue Strong Play vs. S.E. Community College

The Fort Scott Community College men's basketball team continued its strong play as of late picking up another win over the weekend, this time against S.E. Community College 75-59.

The Greyhounds (14-6) opened up a 43-25 halftime advantage and wouldn't relinquish that advantage in the second half.

FSCC posted balance scoring throughout with a good mix from its starters and bench production. Starters John Montgomery and Andre Nelson led the way posting 15 points each while Jayden Davis and Dontrell Sanders added 13 each off the bench.

The Greyhounds hit nearly 47% of its shots including six three pointers and 15 of 20 from the free throw line.

Southeast posted two players in double figures led by Jalen Wilkins-McCoy with 19 points along with 13 rebounds.

FSCC has won five games in a row including nine of their last 10. Greyhounds are back in action on Wednesday night as part of a doubleheader with the women at Hesston. Game times will be at 6:00 and 8:00 with the women first and the men to follow.
