KJCCC Pitcher of the Week - Natalia Sewell

FORT SCOTT, Kan. (Apr. 10, 2024)—Natalia Sewell takes home her second pitcher of the week after a stellar week. The left-handed pitcher went 2-0 on the week after giving Johnson County their first conference loss of the season. She allowed only one run in 13 2/3 innings while striking out 20 and walking only two batters.

The sophomore pitcher is ranked in several categories across the country: 7th in total wins with 13, 7th in strikeouts with 134, 14th in games started, 15th in strikeouts per game, 9.29, 16th in hit batters with only one, 22nd with only one wild pitch, and 24th with an ERA of 1.87 on the season.

The Lady Hounds will return to the mound Thursday as they face Labette Community College at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Both games will be played in Parsons,KS.
