Game 1 Recap VS Neosho CC 

Fort Scott Community College Falls to Neosho County CC After Eighth Inning Score

Fort Scott Community College lost the lead late in a 4-1 defeat to Neosho County CC on Saturday.  The game was tied at one with Neosho County CC batting in the top of the eighth when an error scored one run for Neosho County CC.

Fort Scott Community College evened things up at one in the bottom of the sixth inning when Olivia Morris singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Lauren Fuller was the winning pitcher for Neosho County CC. Fuller lasted eight innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out three and walking zero.

Maddy Cole took the loss for Fort Scott Community College. The pitcher allowed seven hits and four runs over seven and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.

Early Lead for Iowa western Seals Fate for Fort Scott Community College

Fort Scott Community College fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-6 loss to Iowa western on Saturday.  Iowa western scored on a double by E Fitzpatrick, a home run by A Boles, and a double by A Stoner in the second inning.

Despite the loss, Fort Scott Community College did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Iowa western had 13 hits on the way to victory.

Iowa western opened up scoring in the second inning.  Fitzpatrick drove in two when Fitzpatrick doubled.

Fort Scott Community College notched five runs in the fourth inning.  Julia Hess, Paiten Reavis, Halle Hance, and Kennedi Christian all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Saedra Allen took the loss for Fort Scott Community College. The pitcher went five and a third innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and striking out four.

Iowa western smacked three home runs on the day. Stoner put one out in the fourth and seventh innings. Boles had a homer in the second inning.

Fort Scott Community College totaled eight hits in the game.  Christian and Hess all had multiple hits for Fort Scott Community College.  Hess and Christian all had two hits to lead Fort Scott Community College.

Five RBI Day for Julia Hess Leads Fort Scott Community College Past Iowa Central Tritons

Fort Scott Community College defeated Iowa Central Tritons 10-9 on Sunday thanks in part to Julia Hess, who drove in five runners.  Hess drove in runs on a single in the first, a in the third, and a home run in the fourth.

Fort Scott Community College earned the victory despite allowing Iowa Central Tritons to score seven runs in the third inning.  Iowa Central Tritons's big inning was driven by singles by Amber McKinney and Sydney Ballard, doubles by Riley Gilroy and Jori Hajek, a sac fly by Callyn Curphy, and an error on a ball put in play by Myra Megli.

Fort Scott Community College fired up the offense in the first inning.  Hess singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Fort Scott Community College took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Hess homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Fort Scott Community College put up five runs in the third inning.  The offensive firepower by Fort Scott Community College was led by Hess, Ally Bartley, and Maddy Cole, all driving in runs in the inning.

Jenni Jennings led things off on the rubber for Fort Scott Community College. The pitcher surrendered five runs on seven hits over two innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Katelyn Dennis was in the pitcher's circle for Iowa Central Tritons. The pitcher went two and a third innings, allowing seven runs on five hits and striking out two.  Gilroy threw four and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
