The FSCC Rodeo team traveled to Colby Community College to compete in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). There were approximately 450 contestants and 17 schools from Kansas and Oklahoma were competing. Our Boys' team ended up winning the whole thing. The boy's results in Bareback are 1st  place sophomore Quintonn Lunsford, 2nd place sophomore, Bryce Eck, and 3rd  place sophomore Dylan George. In Saddle Bronc sophomore John Allen placed 1st, in 5th freshman Korben Banker, and in 6th sophomore, Blake Steuck. Sophomore, Cooper Williams also placed 2nd in Calf Roping.

Overall, the FSCC Boys team did an outstanding job in Colby. They are currently ranked number one in their division with a total of 4785, along with sophomore Bryce Eck being 2nd all around with a total point of 1,240. The Rodeo team's next stop is at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK on September 28th-30th. Come out and Support your Hounds Rodeo Team for the Alumni Rodeo on October 7th.
