Baseball

Dawson Cantwell is entering his second season as an assistant coach for the Greyhounds.  He serves as the pitching coach and assists with recruiting and academics. 

Coach Cantwell played at Fort Scott from 2017 to 2020 as a left-handed pitcher, and is in the record book with the fourth best career ERA in this program’s history.  After graduating from Fort Scott, Cantwell accepted a scholarship to pitch at West Texas A&M, where he attended for three years.  He is currently working on a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science with an emphasis on Sport Management through West Texas A&M.

Coach Cantwell is a native of Shawnee, KS and went to Mill Valley High School.
