Opening day for Greyhound Baseball is now just 3 days away. Today the program honors former Greyhound shortstop Trey Hair. Hair transferred to Fort Scott from Missouri State last season, and left FSCC having one of the greatest seasons in program history. Below are a few of his 2015 accolades:
- 1st all-time in single season hits (88)
- 1st all-time in single season runs scored (68)
- 4th all-time single season triples (4)
- Honorable Mention KJCCC East shortstop
Currently Hair is playing for the University of Evansville. Head Coach John Hill III shared his thoughts on Trey Hair:
"Trey was the fiercest competitor I have ever coached, bar none. He was an energizer, and he went all out at everything he did. He really set a precedent for our younger players with his work ethic, and I am grateful for everything that he did for the program." Head Coach John Hill III said.
Greyhound Baseball is set to begin its season February 13th against Cloud County at the LaRoche Complex in Fort Scott. Game time is set for 1:00.
