Greyhound Baseball Countdown 15 Days

Greyhound Baseball Countdown 15 Days

15 days until the Greyhounds open their 2016 season, today the program honors sophomore outfielder Jedd Andrade from Honolulu Hawaii. Andrade started last season injured, and made his first appearance during conference play. Once he got his opportunity, he never looked back hitting .386, including an impressive .305 two-strike average. Jedd will again man right field for the Greyhounds this season. Head Coach John Hill III shared his thoughts on Jedd Andrade.

"Jedd is an excellent kid to have in the program. He is kind of an easy going kid, but once its baseball time he really competes. He has to be one of the most complete hitters I have coached in my time here, even when there is two strikes, he gets the job done. I am extremely excited to see what he does in the upcoming season."

Greyhound Baseball is set to begin its season February 13th against Cloud County at the LaRoche Complex in Fort Scott. Game time is set for 1:00.
