Chelsea Yount is originally from Shawnee Mission, KS and attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High school. After cheering all four years in high school, she went on to cheer at Emporia State University (ESU) for 3 years. Graduating from ESU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Wellness.  She has over 10 years of college coaching experience starting at Emporia State University. After her time with the Hornet Cheer team, she moved to Liberty, MO to coach Cheer and Dance for the William Jewell Cardinals. She then moved to Fort Scott, Kansas in 2018 and started as Head Coach of the Greyhound Cheer and Dance teams in August of 2020. Chelsea is excited to be apart of the Greyhound family and watch the program grow into a very competitive team.
