Over the weekend our Lady Hounds Volleyball Team traveled to Kansas City to play in the KCKCC tournament. They played the following four teams: Park JV, St. Louis, Metropolitan, and Southeast. The Lady Hounds also came back 3-1. The first team they played was Park JV. It was a close game, but they got out on top with a win. Number 6, Kyla Brandes had 17 kills along with number 7, Amber Anderson with 14 kills. Avery Crain, number 2 had 40 assists, and number 10, Hailee Schropp with 18 digs.
The next team the Lady Hounds played was St. Louis. These ladies walked away with another win. Freshman, 6, Kyla Brandes had 10 kills. Sophomore, 2, Avery Crain had 25 assists, and freshman, 10, Hailee Schropp had 10 digs.
The Lady Hounds lost the third game against Metropolitan but came back with their third win of the night against Southeast. Sophomore, 18 Tess Winters led with 11 kills along with freshman, 6 Kyla Brandes with 16 kills. Sophomore, 2 Avery Crain had 41 assists, and freshman, 10, Hailee Schropp with 22 digs.
Overall, the Lady Hounds had a successful weekend. Their next game is this Wednesday 9/27/2023 at Hesston College starting at 6:30 pm. Go out and cheer your Lady Hounds on to another victory
