Greyhounds Win on Sophomore Night

The Fort Scott Greyhound Volleyball team defeated Allen County Community College last night on Sophomore night and officially will be hosting the District Tournament next Saturday.  

Our Sophomores include Sophie Mader, Carly Spencer, Maddie Dehlinger, Camryn Hoover, Abbbie Casper, and Laney Ward.  Sophie Mader is from Nickerson Kansas and is our starting setter.  Mader is currently second in the nation for assists per set and 3rd all time for assists.  Carly Spencer is from Liberal Missouri and an Outside, Rightside for the Greyhounds.  Maddie Dehloinger is a middle from Eureka Kansas.  She recently committed to Northwestern Oklahoma State University to continue her academic and athletic career.  Camryn Hoover is a defensive specialist for the 'Hounds and is also from Eureka Kansas.  Abbie Casper is the Greyhound's Libero and is from Pittsburg Kansas.  Casper is second all time for total digs.  Laney Ward, from Kansas City, is a defensive specialist for the 'Hounds.  

These Sophomores have led this team to an impressive 28-4 finish to the regular season.  The 'Hounds continue to compete for their ticket to the National Tournament in West Virginia.  The Greyhound will host Cloud County, Highland, and Northeastern Oklahoma this coming Saturday for the district Tournament.  Come out and support the Greyhounds!!
