Hounds Finish A Great Season

The Hounds were beat in the  by Independence CC 3-1.

Both teams were strong in the circle on Saturday, But Independence was just a little bit better at the plate. Brittany Winchester started the games for the Hounds and recorded 21 outs. Buckley started for Indy and took the victory allowing four hits and one run over seven strong innings.

Winchester took the loss for FSCC allowing 11 hits and three runs over seven strong innings. Paiten Reavis, Olivia Morris, Kennedi Christian and Katie Thompson each collected hit for the Hounds.

The Hounds had an impressive season this year. The Hounds won 30 games; this is an increase from 12 from the previous year. The Hounds swept a ranked Kirkwood team, beat a strong Iowa Central team, Beat a division 1 power house Baton CC.  The Hounds continued the sweep trend over Allen, Highland, Coffeyville, Hesston and split with a strong Neosho Team.
