Fort Scott Community College takes victory on Sunday to the tune of 4-2. The Greyhounds fired up the offense in the second inning, when Jordan Coddington drew a walk, scoring one run. In the bottom of the third inning, Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons tied things up at one. An error scored one run for Hutchinson. Fort Scott pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Kennedee Meier singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and Lane Bohlken doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Abby Cox led the Greyhounds to victory in the circle. She surrendered two runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out six. Cassidy Prucha toed the rubber for Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons . She surrendered one run on two hits over one inning, walking zero. Megan Davis and Bailey Brawner entered the game as relief, throwing three and a third innings and two and two-thirds innings respectively. Fort Scott totaled ten hits in the game. Meier, Cox, and Adrianna Pedrow all managed multiple hits for the Greyhounds. Meier went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Hounds in hits.
