The Hounds Rodeo Team went to Alva Oklahoma this past weekend where colleges and contestants came from Oklahoma and Kansas to show of their skills in the arena. The Hounds put on a show on the campus of Northwestern Oklahoma State University. The Hounds had an impressive run and scored well in Barback, Saddle bronc and Steer wrestling.
This was the Greyhounds last team sanctioned rodeo for the Fall, they will continue working on their crafts in rodeos across the country. The Hounds will also be practicing, doing chores around the arena and finishing up finals before they head home for Christmas break. The Hounds had an impressive fall and the Men's Team is ranked 1st in Central Plaines Region with 1635 points. Quintonn Lunsford is ranked #1 In the Central Plains Region for Bareback. With several other members of the team ranked in the top 10 in Saddle Bronc, Bareback and Bull riding.
The Hounds are back in Action on February 17, 18, 19th at Kansas State University.
