FSCC Men's Rodeo Team Places 2nd at Cherokee, OK

The Fort Scott Community College Men's Rodeo Team won second place at the Central Plains Regional in Cherokee, Oklahoma.  Three bareback riders and one bull rider placed.

FSCC Rodeo Coach Chad Cross –recent NIRA National Coach of the Year- said, "Second place is a good start to the year."

Three bareback riders from FSCC placed highly.  Wyatt Gewinner of Weeping Water, Nebraska won 2nd place with 146 points.  Austin Graham of Jay, Oklahoma was 4th with 144 points.  Boyd Miller of Burwell, Nebraska won 5th place with 142 points.  The top bareback rider, Wesley Cole of Panhandle College, scored 147 points.

Alex Lee of Adrian, Michigan brought home 4th place in bull riding.  His time/score was 62.

Cross added, "Everyone on the team has strong contributions to make.  Hard work will bring that from practice to competition."
