Men's Basketball

Vinny Barron is entering his first season as an Assistant Coach for Greyhound Basketball. Barron is a former FSCC All-Conference guard during the seasons of 2018-2020 and is 3^rd All-Time for three-pointers made in a season with 92 during his sophomore season.

Barron joins the Greyhounds after spending the 2021-22 season at the University of Central Missouri, where he was a Graduate Assistant coach for the Mules.

Prior to his time at UCM, he played at Hardin Simmons University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and was on the Dean’s List.

Vinny has also had a huge impact coaching with Texas Impact which is one of the top AAU in Texas on the Under Armour Circuit.

 “I never thought I would be back at Fort Scott, but extremely happy because it always felt like home. Super excited because it’s a full circle moment, and it feels unreal.”
