8-2 Best Start In School History

 

The Men's Hound's Basketball team traveled to Harrison, Arkansas to play against the North Arkansas College Pioneers this weekend. Although the Hounds did not come back with a win, they are currently 7-2. However, the whole team did well your top four high-scoring players are: sophomore, 33- Andre Norris with 17 points, sophomore, 50- Derrick McDonald with 15 points, sophomore, BJ Francis with 8 points, and freshman, 0- Denymh Smith with 8 points. The Hounds ended up losing 85-69.

FSCC then took on Arkansas State- Newport and took home the win 87-64.

Players of the game were Nickson Bess with 22 points, Andre Norris with 21 points and Denis Kadrick with 13 points and 5 rebounds.

The Hounds then came back home to take on Baptist Bible JV on Monday night. The Team put on a show on the offense and defensive end. The Team finished with 19 assist, 108 points, 16 steals, 61 rebounds and 7 blocks.

The players of the game for the Hounds were Nickson Bess with a double- double with 18 points and 13 boards. Denymh Smith had a great game going 4-9 from three and finishing with 19 points. Derrick McDonald finished with a double-double with 18 points and 10 boards.

 The FSCC Men's Basketball program have the tied the best start in school history with an 8-2 record. FSCC in currently leading the country in total points with 893. -The Hounds are on pace to break the all-time records for PPG 89.3, FG% at 50.9%, & rebounds per game with 43.4.

The Hounds will be on a three-game road trip in Arkansas starting on Monday night as they take on Arkansas State- Newport at 6 pm.
