Hounds Go 3-0 Over the Weekend

Arnold Arena was rocking with every sports team represented. The Hounds 6th man was the fans who came out and made Arnold rock.

Hounds Men's Basketball are on a three-game winning streak since the weekend at the Gladbach classic. The Hounds are now 18-2 at home under Coach Blake Cochran's leadership.  The Hounds started the weekend with a 74-62 win over the University of Arkansas-Cossatot. The Hounds controlled the entire game winning both halves. Fort Scott was led by returner Andre Norris who had 19 points followed by sophomore, Forward Nickson Bess with 16 points and 4 rebounds.

The following day FSCC beat Avila University 86-60 where they shot 61% from the field and 42% from beyond the arc. The Hounds were led by Seattle, WA native Denis Kadiric who had 10 points followed by Sophomore, Forward DJ McDonald with 15 points and 9 rebounds.

The Hounds then hosted the Brave's from Ottawa University. The Hounds dominated the second half scoring 60 points for a final score of 95 to 65. The Hounds shot an impressive 64% from the field in the second half. The Hounds totaled for 53 rebounds and forced 26 turnovers by Andre Norris grabbing 9 steals himself, he is on pace to break the all-time steals record in FSCC history.

The players of the game were Nickson Bess with 18 points, Andre Norris with 13 points and Denis Kadiric with 10 points.

The Hounds are now 3-1 on the season. 

The Hounds are back in action in Arnold Arena for the Pechone Stepps Classic where they will host Central Christian College Friday night at 7:00pm then on Saturday at 4:00pm they will play Kansas Christian College.
