Greyhounds Back On Track At Home
The Greyhound Men's Basketball team got back to winning as they returned home on Tuesday. The Greyhounds played Southwestern JV, and were looking to improve on some of the things that was hurting them on the road over Thanksgiving break. The game started a little sloppy and the Greyhounds struggled to attack the zone that Southwestern was in the first few minutes.

After some key defensive stops that lead to some east transition buckets the Greyhounds pushed ahead and never looked back in the first half and held Southwestern JV to only thirteen points in the first half while scoring thirty four.

The second half is where the Greyhounds got a little sloppy and struggled with executing on both ends of the court as the Greyhounds increased the lead by as many as twenty five points, the Greyhounds closed out the game with the score being 73-38.

"Right now we have to start working on executing on both ends of the court and playing together for forty minutes. I like that we won but there is a right way to win and not just worry about out scoring a team, we have to play better defense for forty minutes and in my opinion Southwestern played harder than we did for forty minutes," stated Head Coach Michael Cook
