Fort Scott Greyhounds take on KCKCC

The Greyhounds trailed most of the first half with a score of 25-32 at half time.  Greyhounds came back with an early basket starting the second half with an assist by Tyler Zinn.  Hounds took the first lead of the game with 8 minutes to go in the second half with a dominating dunk by Donnie Flowers.  With 5 minutes left to go Flowers comes back with a big offensive rebound that resulted in two made free throws.  KCKCC continued to fight back staying within 5.  With 3 minutes left to go John Montgomery hits a jumper and is fouled and makes his free throw.  A few quick shots by KCKCC brings the score back within two with 40 seconds to go.  Great defense down the home stretch leads to an exciting Greyhound win with a score of 69-63.

Leading scorers for the Greyhounds were Tyler Zinn with 18 and Dontrell Sanders with 15.  The Greyhounds had a total of 32 rebounds on the night.
