Greyhounds Outrun North Ark

North Arkansas scored three runs in the fourth inning, but Fort Scott Community College still won 19-3 on Friday. North Arkansas's big inning was driven by fielder's choices by #13 and #8. The Hounds secured the victory thanks to 14 runs in the fourth inning. Grant Goldston, Alexei Cazarin, Robbie Merced, Adam Rellihan, Owen Wilson, and Hampton Hall all drove in runs in the frame. Fort Scott opened up scoring in the first inning. Andruw McKenzie drove in one when he singled. The Greyhounds tallied 14 runs in the fourth inning. Fort Scott batters contributing to the big inning included Goldston, Cazarin, Merced, Rellihan, Wilson, and Hall, who all drove in runs. Jacob Haans was the winning pitcher for the Hounds. He went three and a third innings, allowing three runs on two hits and striking out five. Bailey Cantu and Michael Barnes entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. #34 led things off on the mound for North Arkansas. He went two innings, allowing five runs on nine hits, striking out two and walking one. #35, #28, and #25 each contributed in relief for North Arkansas. Fort Scott tallied 14 hits on the day. McKenzie, Rellihan, Hall, and Wilson each racked up multiple hits for the Hounds. Rellihan and McKenzie each collected three hits to lead Fort Scott.
