Hounds Run by Evangel.

           Grant Goldston was bad news for opposing pitchers on Thursday, driving in four on one hits to lead the Greyhounds past Evangel 15-5 on Thursday. Goldston drove in runs on a home run in the second and a groundout in the fifth.

Evangel got on the board in the first inning when #13 doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Dawson Cantwell took the win for Fort Scott. He allowed five hits and two runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking one. JT Bell threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Bell recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds, #14 took the loss for Evangel. He allowed seven hits and seven runs over three innings, striking out one and walking one.

Fort Scott tallied three home runs on the day. Goldston had a four bagger in the second inning. Hampton Hall went yard in the first inning. Andruw McKenzie put one out in the fourth inning.

 

Fort Scott racked up 15 hits in the game. Adam Rellihan, Joey Winkler, McKenzie, Andrew Paulsey, and Alexei Cazarin each racked up multiple hits for the Hounds. Winkler and Rellihan all had three hits to lead the Greyhounds. #13 led Evangel with three hits in three at bats. Evangel didn't commit a single error in the field. #6 had the most chances in the field with four.
