Greyhound Baseball Opener 28 Days Away

The countdown to opening day begins with Ryan McCollough. McCollough, a right-handed pitcher out of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, will look to build on an already impressive start to his college career. McCollough went 6-1 with a rock solid 3.12 ERA in 14 appearances including 8 starts. He struck out just under a hitter per-inning, while allowing just 16 walks in 69.1 innings. Finally, his impressive freshman season was capped off by a complete game effort in the region 6 tournament against Coffeyville Community College. Head Coach John Hill III shared his thoughts on Ryan McCollough:

"Ryan pitched for us in multiple roles last season, and was the model of consistency in whatever role he was put into. He started in the bullpen, and eventually moved to our rotation where he was a rock the remainder of the season. Ryan McCollough is a work horse; I am never concerned about him getting his work done on a daily basis. For us to continue our success this season, we will look to Ryan's leadership to insure that our team is on the right path. I am extremely excited to see what Ryan does to build on his success from last year."

Greyhound Baseball opens its season against Cloud County On Saturday February 13th. First pitch of the doubleheader will be 1:00.
